Why Quality Website Content Is Important.

Creating unique and relevant website content is the best way to build any website.  You will hear about all sorts of SEO tricks, "black hat" tricks to rank websites in the search engines, back links, deep links, keywords, PLR content, article writers, article submitters, blog pingers, and host of other tricks and techniques for getting your website to rank well in search engines.

While it is good to know about many of these different techniques and tools, the only way that you will create a website that will survive "Google slaps" and web 2.0 and web 3.0 shifts is to create quality content.

The internet is essentially an information resource.  People who "surf the internet" are people looking for information.  If you can provide quality website content then your website is going to be what people want to see.

One of these short cuts is to use PLR Articles.  These are articles supplied to membership sites and individuals that have Private Label Resale rights (PLR) which essentially means you have the right to publish them as your own content. 

The problem with these kind of articles is that there are often hundreds of other people posting the exact same articles.  If the search engines find the same content on websites the value of that content is diminished and consequently so is the value of your website (your Page Rank). 

Does this mean you should not use PLR content?  No. However, it does mean you should not use PLR content without rewriting it (an easier task than writing an article from scratch).

Article writers are software that take pre-written articles (either articles you submit or articles harvested from the web) and mix and match the content to create "new articles."  These do NOT create quality content designed for a quality user experience.  They were designed to create content to fool search engines.  Do not use them to design  website content.

Ghost writers are people for hire who write articles for you.  Depending on the contract that you have with the writer the rights to the articles are generally transferred to the person who commissioned the writing of the articles.  They are a superior form of easy content creation for your websites. However, you should be warned that you also get what you pay for, and cheap writers often deliver a cheap quality of content.  You should always check the quality of a writers work by seeing past articles, or hiring them for a test article before giving them a large contract.
